amavisd-new-2.2.1-rc1 (release candidate) is available,
please try it out:

  http://www.ijs.si/software/amavisd/amavisd-new-2.2.1-rc1.tar.gz

The 2.2.1 is mostly a maintenance release over 2.2.0.
with only a couple of small new features added.

Please see RELEASE_NOTES, and make sure the pax(1) utility
is available on your system and noticed by amavisd during
startup.

Expected release date is December 22nd.
