Haven't heard any feedback as to if it fixed the problem or not, if so
here is a more complete patch as it appears a couple of other variables
were not declared either ($bypass_banned_checks_ldap &
$bypass_header_checks_ldap).

I see nothing nice about sticking with a packaging system that offers
out of date packages. In this day and age of software progress, not to
mention security issues I want my software up to date or at least
reasonably close not something 1 1/2 year old.
