:) Yes I am using spamassassin > 3.0 and I just read that the
$sa_auto_whitelist is ignored and I need to set a preference in the
local.cf.

I am still interested in hearing suggestions to the sizes of the files
though.

Hi all,

I have recently noticed that the .spamassassin directory inside of my
amavisd home is growing quite rapidly.

749M ./.spamassassin

This seems to be mainly due to the auto-whitelist and bayes databases

 19M Dec 22 20:07 bayes_toks

The bayes databases I understand, but the auto-whitelist I am concerned with
because I have the auto_whitelist disabled

#$sa_auto_whitelist = 1; # turn on AWL (default: false)

How big will these files get (I am assuming that they will just keep
growing)? For performance reasons I am certain that at some size it is going
to be more beneficial to delete these databases and start over. What size
would that be?

Back to the pressing issue here, why to I have an auto-whitelist file if I
have the $sa_auto_whitelist undef?
