I forgot to mention that if you are using postfix/lmtp, you should
configure postfix with an appropriate max_use value for the amavis service.
amavisd-new will only check the status of the virus data after each task,
and each smtp/lmtp connection is considered one task no matter how many
messages are processed during it. The postfix smtp client will only reuse
an existing connection a limited number of times, but the lmtp client will
reuse it many times unless max_use is configured.
