I did replace 'localhost' for 127.0.0.1 but it didn't made much of a
difference.
BIND is listening to all the interfaces on the server so that should have been
worked. I guess you'r right that the DNS is ok and that it's just a matter of
bad response (my cached DNS has an outstanding speed trackrecord). I still
find it a bit strange then that it *always* times out for 'rsl' and that it
already times out after only a few second(2 - 4).
Perhaps the servername/ip for rsl is hardcoded in the software and now
outdated?
