Hi,

I am running amavisd-new with the courier-mta running
on Redhat 8.0. Whenever I restart the amavisd service
it starts the unix socket located in
/var/spool/courier/allfilters with owner and group
being amavis. Where can i configure that it starts the
socket as owner amavis but a different group (one that
i use to run courier). I have specified the correct
user and group in amavisd.conf with the $daemon_user
and $daemon_group values.

This issue does not allow the webmail users to send
out emails and I have to manually change the
permissions for the above mentioned socket for the
users to start sending emails again. Again, this
problem only affects webmail users (POP/IMAP users are
unaffected)

Regards,

Ismeet
