Name Alias
The Name Alias section gives you the option to configure an
alias for this record.
On this menu you have two options, Alias and Real Name.
- Alias
- The alias needs to be a Fully-Qualified Domain Name (FQDN).
In this case the alias is where you want the user to be redirected
to. For example, the user types in www.guardiandigital.com
while really they are being sent to lockbox.guardiandigital.com.
- Real Name
- The real name of the server also needs to be a Fully-Qualified
Domain Name. This is the name that the Alias will really be going
to. In the example above you would enter in lockbox.guardiandigital.com.
