Creating the Filter

1. At this point click the Add button on this new menu.
2. Enter a Name and a Description and uncheck the Use Add Wizard checkbox.

   Name

   VPN Connection

   Description

   Traffic Going from the Windows XP Network to the Guardian Digital VPN Network

   
   
   
   
   
   
   

3. When all changes have been made click Add.

   
   
   

   
   
   
   

4. On the next screen set the configuration to the following:

   Source Address

   Select A Specific IP Subnet.

   IP Subnet

   Enter address of the network, not the IP address, routed by the Windows XP server.

   Destination Address

   Select A Specific IP Subnet.

   IP Subnet

   Enter the address of the network, not the IP address, routed by the Guardian Digital VPN.

   Mirrored

   Remove the check, if present.

   • [NOTE:]For a subnet-to-ip-address configuration change the Destination Address to A specific IP Address and enter in the IP Address of the Windows XP Server.

5. Once everything is filled in select the Description tag.

   
   
   

   
   
   
   

6. For the Description enter ``Filter from Windows XP Network to Guardian Digital VPN Network''.
7. Once the Description has been filled in click OK.
8. You will now see the new filter listed in the menu. Click OK.
