Setting the Key Authentication and Recreation Timing

1. Select the General tab.
2. Click the Advanced button.
3. If unchecked, check Master key perfect forward secrecy (PFS).

   
   
   

   
   
   
   

4. The Authentication and Generate a new key option should be set to 5 minutes. This will allow the Windows XP server to re authenticate if the VPN connection fails.
5. After making changes click OK and then Close on the following menu.
