Windows 2000

  1. Starting the Routing and Remote Access Service

  2. From the Start Menu, select Programs, Administration Tools and then Routing and Remote Access.

  3. Right click on the local server, NICK-SX4JP5AAEW (local) in the given example above, and select Configure and Enable Routing and Remote Access.

    This will bring up the Setup Wizard.

  4. Select Next.

  5. Select Manually Configure Server, then proceed by clicking Next.

  6. Click Finish.

  7. Choose Yes when prompted to start the service after configuration.
