Files

The Files module allows you to create and manage files and directories online maintaining a hierarchical structure. To create a file or directory, click on New File/Directory in the Files menu. Fill out all the fields appropriately. If you are creating a directory, you will have to select "empty text file" in the "File content" field. A file or directory has View, Edit, and Delete permissions. Permissions for the current group and for all groups can be set up separately. All files and directories will be listed in the File Listing page. Each displayed file or directory will have View Details, Copy, Edit and Delete options, provided the file has proper permissions for the user. To download a file, click on that filename. To open a directory and view its contents, click on the name of that directory. The search feature can be used to find a file or directory quickly.
