Import System Users

The WebShare Manager system's user database is integrated with the EnGarde system's users. The WebShare Manager can not create or delete users. This must be done via the WebTool. Instructions concerning this can be found in EnGarde Secure Professional User Manual under section 4.4.1, User Account Administration.

When a user is created in the system they will not be added to the WebShare Manager system until the user is imported through this Import System Users menu or the user attempts to login to the WebShare Manager system. When the user logs into the WebShare Manager system their account is configured with the default settings. By importing the user prior to the user logging the group the user will be apart of can be assigned.

As in the example above the default group for all users is 'users'. The users real system group is displayed along with what their e-mail address would be on the system. If this e-mail address does not match their system address an alias can be created so that they match.

To import the user(s) check off the users to be imported and select the group to put the user in. Once everything has been configured click 'Import Users'. At this point the users are in the WebShare Manager system and in their proper groups.
